Racing Club de Lens look to have a busy summer on their hands as club owner and president Joseph Oughourlian has reportedly agreed to part ways with club CEO Pierre Dréossi and Sporting Director Diego Lopez, according to L’Equipe. Les Sang et Or are now also without a head coach as Will Still announced his departure from Stade Bollaert-Delelis to be closer to his partner. The Anglo-Belgian coach is reportedly on the verge of signing for Southampton. Currently, Lens have no CEO, no Sporting Director, and no head coach, which is not ideal with the summer transfer window coming thick and fast.
The outlet understands that both Dréossi and Lopez have reached an agreement with Oughourlian to leave their post. Sporting Director Diego Lopez reportedly decided to embark on a new chapter of his career after successfully balancing the club’s books. Lens notably let go of Brice Samba, Abdukodir Khusanov, and Kevin Danso in the winter transfer window. Nevertheless, the 35-year-old Lens executive reportedly did not align with the club’s sporting strategy.
