Bruno Genesio’s options are heavily limited as Lille OSC look to conclude their UEFA Champions League ‘League Phase’ campaign with a victory when they face Feyenoord.
There are multiple absentees for Lille. Edon Zhegrova is the major one. The Kosovo international has undergone an operation on a pubis issue and will miss six weeks of competition. On the opposite flank, Matias Fernandez-Pardo remains out. Samuel Umtiti, Nabil Bentaleb and André Gomes are all not included in Lille’s Champions League squad.
Tiago Santos and Ismaily are out injured and Genesio’s task is made even more difficult due to the absences of Aïssa Mandi and Benjamin André through suspension. Les Dogues therefore have little option but to start a very inexperienced midfield, most likely consisting of Ngal’ayel Mukau and Ayyoub Bouadi.
