Arne Slot is without several senior players for Anfield clash

Ibrahima Konate starts for Liverpool in the Champions League against Bayer Leverkusen tonight.

However, Arne Slot said at his pre-match press conference: "He's available to play. I think he's completely recovered so he can play. Then it's up to me to make the decision if he plays or not. He's in a good place."

Alexis Mac Allister came off early against Brighton but is fine to continue alongside Ryan Gravenberch in central midfield, while Curtis Jones gets the nod over Dominik Szoboszlai in the No10 role after giving a good account of himself as a substitute against Brighton.

Cody Gakpo has scored three goals in two appearances against Brighton over the past week and that should be enough to earn another start on the left-hand side of Liverpool's attack.
