The biggest mishap of the January mercato so far is probably Noah Okafor’s move to RB Leipzig which never finalised. Now, he has changed agents in a bid to leave AC Milan.
Transfers can fail at any stage, whether it be initial talks, offers, contracts or much more. Okafor’s failed due to a last-minute change in the deal, despite everything seemingly being agreed upon. The Swiss winger had already bid farewell to Milan, but it was not to be.
He has remained on the market since, and there is interest in the winger from Serie A, however, Bologna are more interested in Samuel Chukwueze as he fits the bill for what is needed more than the left-side winger.
So with his position with the Rossoneri falling, he has changed his agents in the middle of the mercato in an attempt to leave the club.
As Daniele Longo reports for Calciomercato.com, the winger has terminated his partnership with Sport360, however, he still remains on the market, with the Rossoneri looking to build funds.
Time is running out for a move to come to fruition, but whilst there is time, it is likely the player and club will exhaust every beneficial option in an attempt to split ways.
