Manchester United have reportedly entered the fray for Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia who is heavily linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
The 23-year-old Georgian winger has been plying his trade with the Serie A giants since the summer of 2022. Despite arriving as a relative unknown, he played an instrumental role in the club’s Scudetto triumph (their first in 33 years) in his maiden campaign in Italian football, and was eventually named the MVP of the Serie A season.
However, the star’s rapport with the management is far from ideal, and many believe he could be on his way out as early as January, allowing the Partenopei to raise transfer funds. Napoli have already signed David Neres in the summer, so he would be a decent replacement for Antonio Conte.
In recent days, PSG have emerged as the main suitor in the race for the Napoli ‘phenomenon’. However, the Ligue 1 champions could face some competition from England, reckons a report in the French media.

According to L’Equipe, Manchester United are also keeping close tabs on the situation, as they will be looking to bolster their attacking ranks this month, especially with Marcus Rashford seemingly on his way out of the club.
Therefore, the source mentions a potential exchange deal that would see Khvaratskhelia head to Carrington with Rashford going in the opposite direction.
This isn’t the first these two clubs were tipped to forge a swap deal. In previous weeks, reports claimed the Red Devils could use the outcasted Englishman as a bargaining chip in their attempts to land Victor Osimhen. The Nigerian bomber has been plying his trade at Galatasaray this season, but Napoli still owns his contract and can recall him in case they were to receive a tempting offer.
