Monaco’s Maghnes Akliouche will be a hot commodity next year as the 22-year-old becomes a prominent player for the Ligue 1 McDonald’s side. As a result, it’s also drawing interest from other top European clubs for a potential switch in 2025.
This past summer, Paris Saint-Germain showed interest in Akliouche as part of their ongoing strategy to secure young French talent.
In June, Sports Zone reported that Akliouche, under contract at Monaco until 2028, was eager about the possibility of joining PSG and that the club was close to finalizing personal terms with him.
He was impressed by PSG’s vision and hoped the club would make a move for him despite Monaco’s strong desire to keep him.
Ultimately, no deal was made, but Akliouche’s stock has been rising after a standout start to the 2024-25 season. The winger has recorded four goals and five assists in 21 appearances across all competitions.

CaughtOffside reported on Friday, citing sources, that Manchester City have the most concrete interest in Akliouche as the January transfer window opens in a few days.
Moreover, the report also reveals that RB Leipzig, Atletico Madrid, PSG, Juventus, Inter Milan, Napoli, AS Roma, and Newcastle United are among the clubs who are in pursuit of the silver medal winner from the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Given his quality performances and potential, Monaco have no intention of letting Akliouche go for a bargain. Les Rouge et Blanc are not considering selling the player for less than €60 million, per CaughtOffside.
