Manchester United are now ‘finalising final details’ of their swoop to add a left sided player to Ruben Amorim’s squad after reaching an agreement.
The Red Devils are keen to back Amorim where they can, but have been clear that they will not pay over the odds during the ongoing winter transfer window.
Players could leave, with Marcus Rashford firmly out of favour and expected to depart, while there is interest in Alejandro Garnacho.
Now though Manchester United are closing on an arrival, with Lecce wing-back Patrick Dorgu the man they have been working to sign.
According to Sky Italia, Manchester United have an agreement with Lecce and are ‘finalising final details’ relating to the move.
The Red Devils will pay a fee of €30m to sign the left sided star, while there will also be €7.5m in add-ons included.
It is unclear how easy or difficult the add-ons will be to achieve.
Amorim will be hoping to see the deal concluded soon as he seeks to have Dorgu to call upon in Manchester United’s coming games.
