Milan need to make room for Kyle Walker on their list and would rather not exclude players they could use. The primary way is to sell somebody, preferably for a profit, either right away or down the line, La Gazzetta dello Sport informs.
The Rossoneri believe other teams will materialize for Noah Okafor given his upside after his move to RB Leipzig collapsed at the 11th hour. Furthermore, they are open to partying ways with Emerson Royal even though they signed him just six months ago.
He has been a full-time starter, but Walker will take over the position. He was acquired for €15M and has constantly beaten out Davide Calabria. Galatasaray and Fenerbahce are poking around. Their captain will leave at the end of the season, but he’s not a problem the lists since he’s a homegrown player.
The Rossoneri believe they’d be fine sans Emerson as Alex Jimenez, Filippo Terracciano, and Alessandro Florenzi can fill in. They’d accept a fee similar to what they spent to acquire him from Tottenham. His suitors have proposed just initial loans so far.
The fact that they are already looking to offload two of their main summer acquisitions is telling about the confusion at the top. The plan to have the Manchester City wantaway as their go-to fullback is a better idea than using him in the middle and shipping off Fikayo Tomori. It looks like they won’t do that only because either the player or Juventus voted against it. It’s hard to imagine some team will pay much for the Brazilian given his lackluster performances.
