Youssouf Fofana picked up a yellow card towards the end of the first half of Milan’s Serie A match against Parma on Sunday, which means that he is now suspended for next week’s Derby della Madonnina against city rivals Inter.
The Frenchman was at risk of suspension heading into the Parma match, having already picked up four yellow cards in the league before kick-off in San Siro.

He was shown a yellow card in the 43rd minute for stopping a Parma counter attack, and will now have to serve a one match suspension in the next league game, which happens to fall against Simone Inzaghi’s title-chasing Inter.
The scores were level at 1-1 at the time of Fofana’s yellow. The Rossoneri fell behind to a Matteo Cancellieri goal after 24 minutes, but Christian Pulisic levelled the tie from the penalty spot with 38 minutes on the clock.
