Moyes wants to sign Leicester defender as Coady makes worst PL XI

Today (Monday, April 28) we have two Leicester City topics to explain and then subsequently discuss. First of all, we have a Foxes transfer rumour to paw over. The speculation concerns underperforming Denmark international Victor Kristiansen. The left back could be off this summer, and we don't consider that a blow to City whatsoever. In fact, a prospective departure here could be a blessing in thinly veiled disguise. Secondly, there is Conor Coady. I'd put the former Wolverhampton Wanderers centre back on the five worst LCFC players of the season list. And, evidently, somebody at football365 concurs with my view on the somehow England-capped defender. So, what was said about Coady as he was given a totally undesirable mention on the aforementioned website?

David Moyes and Everton strangely looking at Leicester City defender

I've got to admit, after Leicester's unacceptable Premier League campaign, I'm surprised many if any of our personnel are being targeted by clubs in that division. And that sentiment especially applies to Kristiansen. What's next, Liverpool after James Justin?

Nevertheless, clearly my view isn't shared in the wider footballing community. Everton supposedly seek a new left-sided man for their defence. And the 22-year-old is surprisingly said to be on the wishlist.

To be fair, Toffees manager David Moyes has done a great job at Goodison Park. He may even be able to get a satisfactory tune out of Kristiansen. Will the Dane be at the new Everton Stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock in 2025/26?

Conor Coady named in worst Premier League lineup of the week

No surprises here after Matheus Cunha and Jorgen Strand Larsen gave Coady a predictably torrid time. I consider the 32-year-old a pseudo leader at City (Copenhagen incident and wanting to leave in January). It'd be best to sell as soon as possible.

"The Conor Coady derby went exactly as expected. An in-form Wolves side put already-relegated Leicester to the sword and were unlucky not to win more handsomely than 3-0."
