Napoli supporters recreated an infamous banner showing Simone Inzaghi’s face imposed on top of a dog being walked by Antonio Conte during their 2-0 victory over Cagliari on Friday night, which sealed the club’s second Scudetto in three years.
Napoli were confirmed as champions of Italy on Friday night after a 2-0 win over Cagliari, which was enough to seal the club’s fourth ever Serie A title.

Supporters at the Stadio Maradona on Friday night held up a banner showing Antonio Conte’s face photoshopped onto a video game character, who appears to be walking a dog with Inzaghi’s face in its place. The original image comes from the popular video game GTA V.

The same banner has appeared several times in Serie A over recent years, most notably featuring Denzel Dumfries and Theo Hernandez during the 2023-24 season.
The image caused controversy when Dumfries grabbed a flag from a supporter during Inter’s Serie A title parade and took it onto the bus with him last year, leading to viral posts on social media in the following days.
The Dutchman and Inter as a club were both handed €4,000 fines as a result of the incident.
