This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

One thing that’s clear is that Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will want his strongest possible starting eleven on the pitch on Sunday.

The Derby d’Italia against Juventus is always one of Inter’s biggest fixture. And the title race against Napoli means it is virtually must-win for the Nerazzurri.

Moreover, Inter have the luxury of no midweek fixtures on either side of Sunday’s match.

Therefore, Inzaghi is hardly thinking about squad rotation.

By and large, Inter’s starting eleven virtually picks itself for Sunday’s match.

The Gazzetta report that Denzel Dumfries and Federico Dimarco will come into the team on the flanks.

Then, in attack it will be the usual starting duo of Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram. The Frenchman will be fit for Sunday’s match.

However, there is one major doubt for Inzaghi. That is in the centre of defense.

Francesco Acerbi announced his return to the team with an exceptional performance against Fiorentina on Monday.

Therefore, the Italian international would certainly be a candidate to start against Juventus.

However, the Gazzetta reports, it is still Stefan de Vrij who is the favourite to start against the Bianconeri.

The Dutchman certainly proved his reliability with a sequence of strong displays whilst Acerbi was absent.

In any event, reports the Gazzetta, Inzaghi is likely to leave the decision on which of the two starts down to the last minute.
