Juventus confirm Paul Pogba’s contract termination with an official statement.
“Juventus Football Club and Paul Pogba announce that they have reached a mutual agreement for the termination of their contract as of November 30 2024,” the Bianconeri said on Friday.
“The club wishes Paul the very best for his professional future.”
The France international failed a doping test in August 2023 after spending the entire match on the bench in Serie A against Udinese.
The following month, he was suspended, so he could no longer train with the Juventus first team. He was handed a four-year ban a few months later, which was later reduced to 18 months.
This means Pogba can return to action in March 2025, but he was no longer part of Juventus’ plans, so the Bianconeri opened talks to terminate his contract.
The two parties have now reached an agreement, and Pogba’s last day as a Juventus player will be November 30, 2024.
Pogba had returned to Turin for his second spell at Juventus in the summer of 2022. However, he struggled with injuries before failing a doping ban last year, collecting just 12 competitive appearances across all competitions.
In his latest interview, released to multiple media in October, Pogba said he was ready to give up money to remain at Juventus.
