There is never any shortage of offers when it comes to players of FC Barcelona. Given that they already play at one of the world’s biggest clubs, other teams know that they are ready for any kind of challenge. However, it is a big ask for any club to convince a player to leave Barcelona.
Even with a lack of opportunities or minutes, players rarely ever feel the need to change clubs if they are already a part of the Catalan outfit. With the kind of sporting project that the club offers and the lucrative contracts as well, it is an enticing privilege to abandon.
However, there are players that Barça themselves are trying to push out of the club at times. Either due to the financial burden of retaining them or simply due to a lack of need in sporting terms, certain players just do not serve a purpose to Barcelona at a certain point.
Currently, one such player could be 22-year-old Spanish forward Ansu Fati. Already struggling in terms of his participation this season, he has often found himself not even being included in the squad lists for several games at a time by Hansi Flick.
However, despite all this, the player’s stance remains clear about his future. He wants to remain at Barcelona, and the latest update from Fabrizio Romano confirms that as well. Furthermore, the Italian journalist claims that the player is unwilling to listen to any incoming offers.
Previously, interest from Turkey emerged for the Spanish forward. However, Romano has clarified that Fati is not listening to any offers from Turkish clubs nor any other country. He wants to focus completely on Barcelona for now, and his future is still at the club.
However, there will likely be a major decision in store for him in the summer. Even according to the information provided by Romano, the player’s situation will be re-assessed at the end of the season and that will likely dictate the reality of where he ends up playing next season.
