Juventus will look to bounce back with a solid performance against Monza in their next Serie A match-up taking place on Sunday evening at the Allianz Stadium.

Ahead of the 18:00 CEST kick-off, here's a look at all the pre-match numbers:

Head-to-head

  • After losing the first two matches against Monza in Serie A, Juventus have won each of the next three, scoring exactly two goals each game, for an aggregate score of 6-2.
  • The Bianconeri have won their last three matches against Monza in Serie A: against no team in this tournament do the Bianconeri boast a longer open streak of consecutive wins in the competition than against the Brianzoli (three, as against Como).
  • Monza are coming off four consecutive defeats and, under the guidance of a single coach, only in their first five matches in the top division did they suffer five straight losses, between August and September 2022, with Giovanni Stroppa on the bench.
  • Juventus have only lost one of their last 16 Serie A matches against the last-place team in the league (12W, 3D), a defeat that came against Monza: 1-0 at the U-Power Stadium on 18 September 2022, the Brianzoli's first historic win in the top-flight.
  • Monza have failed to score in eight of their last 12 league games: as many times as in their previous 27 Serie A matches.

Interesting Facts

  • Juventus have won six of their seven home games in Serie A in 2025 (1L), and in this calendar year only Bologna (seven) have had more home wins in the competition.
  • Juve won their first two home games under Igor Tudor (vs Genoa and Lecce), with the last coach to triumph in his first three home games in charge of the Bianconeri in Serie A being Maurizio Sarri in 2019/20.
  • Juventus is the team that has earned the most clean sheets in home matches in this league: nine (out of the total 17), which is at least two more than any other opponent.
  • Juventus and Monza are two of the three teams to have scored the fewest headed goals in the league: two for the Brianzoli (like Hellas Verona) and three for the Bianconeri. The Biancorossa, however, are also the team who have conceded the most so far: 18.
  • Monza is the team that has lost the most games from set-pieces in this championship - 22 out of the 26 total (4D) - and one of the three, along with Empoli and Genoa, to have never won after conceding first.

  • Next will be Timothy Weah's 150th game in Europe's top five leagues. Of the five total goals scored in Serie A, all this season, the American has scored four at the Allianz Stadium: more than any other team-mate in home games in 2024/25.

Opposition Focus

  • The only goal, out of 51 total, scored from a direct free-kick by Gianluca Caprari in Serie A came against Juventus (one of two in the top -light against the Bianconeri), in May 2019, with Sampdoria at the Ferraris. However, the Monza striker has not contributed to a goal in his last 10 matches.
  • The next will be Andrea Petagna's 250th match and 50th goal in Serie A. The Monza striker, who has not scored in the tournament since 14 January 2024, with Cagliari against Bologna, scored a goal, via a penalty kick, against Juventus in the top-flight in February 2020, with SPAL.
