City bragging rights are at stake as Juventus host Torino in the 159th instalment of the Derby della Mole, taking place at the Allianz Stadium on Saturday evening.

Ahead of the 20:45 CET kick-off, here's a breakdown of the two sides' form, head to head record and star players:

Head-to-head

  • This will be the 159th Derby played between Juventus and Torino in Serie A. The Bianconeri hold the head-to-head advantage with 77 wins compared to Torino’s 35, with 46 draws completing the picture.
  • Juventus have gone unbeaten in 35 of the last 36 derbies against Torino in Serie A (26W, 9D), drawing the most recent match against the Granata in the league (0-0, on 13 April). The two teams have not drawn two matches in a row in the competition since the period between October 2001 and February 2002.
  • The Bianconeri have kept 62 clean sheets against the Granata in Serie A (in 158 games): only against Inter have they kept more (64).
  • 1-0 to Juve is the most frequent result in matches between Juventus and Torino in Serie A. This has been the final score of 22 matches, the last coming on 15 October 2022.
  • Juve has recorded 13 wins and five draws in their last 18 home meetings against Torino in Serie A, including the last 12 played at the Allianz Stadium (9W, 3D) - against no other side do the Bianconeri boast more matches without a loss at their current stadium.

Interesting Facts

  • All of the last five goals scored in the Derby della Mole in Serie A have come from set-pieces (four from corners and one from an indirect free-kick), and all by Juventus (Danilo, Gleison Bremer, Adrien Rabiot, Federico Gatti and Arek Milik).
  • Torino have not won away against Juventus in Serie A since 9 April 1995, when they won 2-1 at the Delle Alpi, thanks to a Ruggiero Rizzitelli double, under coach Nedo Sontetti.
  • Juventus have not suffered defeat in 19 Serie A matches (7W, 12D): among all the teams in the top five European leagues, they are the side with the longest unbeaten run, and the only team that has not lost since the beginning of April. The Bianconeri have kept a clean sheet in 12 of these 19 matches, at least two more than any other team across these leagues.
  • Torino have lost five of their last six Serie A matches (1W), including the most recent two without scoring. The Granata could record three straight defeats without a goal to their credit in the competition for the first time since February-March 2014.
