On the eve of their Champions League semi-final, PSG’s hopes of going the Ligue 1 season unbeaten were dashed at home, as they slipped to a 3-1 defeat against Nice at the Parc des Princes.

Despite already securing the title, Luis Enrique didn’t rotate his squad — instead, he went full strength to keep the momentum going ahead of Arsenal.

The hosts dominated possession and peppered Nice’s goal, but a brilliant performance from keeper Bulka kept the hosts out early on.

The visitors struck first on the counter, with Morgan Sanson finishing off a move from Bouanani’s through ball. PSG equalised quickly, Dembélé setting up Fabián Ruiz, and it looked like they were back in control going into half-time.

But just 30 seconds into the second half, Nice hit again — Jonathan Clauss crossed, Sanson volleyed home his second, and PSG never fully recovered. Their intensity dropped, and a late goal from Ndayishimiye on another counter sealed the win and ended PSG’s perfect league run.

The French champions will now turn their attention to their Champions League as they travel to London to face Arsenal in the first leg of the semi-finals.
