PSG targeting a move for Ilya Zabarnyi from Bournemouth | OneFootball

Paris Saint-Germain are targeting a summer move for Bournemouth centre back Ilya Zabarnyi (22) in the summer transfer window, according to a report from Sacha Tavolieri. The Ligue 1 champions are aiming to bolster their options at the heart of defence and have identified the Ukrainian international as a potential option.

PSG showed interest in signing Zabarnyi last summer, but a move for the Bournemouth defender never materialised with Willian Pacho arriving at the Parc des Princes. The 22-year-old is not the only defender that Les Parisiens are considering. Club Brugge centre back Joel Ordoñez (21) is another player that the French capital club are considering, Tavolieri understands.

One in, one out?

With PSG targeting the acquisition of one centre back in the summer transfer window, this could see another defender leave the Parc des Princes. Les Parisiens are aiming to sell Marquinhos, and hope to achieve a fee in the region of €40m for the Brazilian international centre back.
