Tamo Junto Brasil!
RB Leipzig will be in Brazil for a post-season tour of the country from 23rd to 30th May.
We will of course keep you up to date on all the key developments and reports from our boys' time in São Paulo. Find a brief overview of the tour schedule HERE.
The lads experienced their first highlight of the trip at the famous football museum in São Paulo. Here, football is not only celebrated for its sporting entertainment but also as a cultural phenomenon, whose influence extends beyond the field of play. Find out here why Lukas Klostermann still gets goosebumps when looking back on his previous visit to the country.
A couple of players also visited Furia, one of the most well-known e-sports organisations in Brazil. FURIA have particularly gained recognition for their Counter Strike team, which has made a name for itself on the international stage.
Ahead of the Red Bulls’ departure for Brazil on Friday, one final training session at Cottaweg had been pencilled in.
The flight left for South America bang on 17:00 CEST from Leipzig/Halle Airport. The boys either slept, played Yahtzee or chatted with the other players to pass the 12 hours in the air, eventually landing at midnight local time in São Paulo. Tired from the long journey, the squad headed straight to their hotel, hoping to quickly adjust to the jet lag and five-hour time difference.
The team’s Brazilian adventure was underway and it was sure to be an exciting time full of experiences.
