La Liga giants Real Madrid are giving consideration to what would be a surprise move for a member of the defensive ranks at Premier League champions Manchester City.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Kyle Walker as the player in question.
It is of course common knowledge that the brass at Real Madrid are on the lookout for potential reinforcements at right-back for the 2nd half of the campaign.
After seeing their approaches for first-choice target Trent Alexander-Arnold turned down, however, Los Blancos have been forced to look elsewhere.
And as much has led the Spanish champions, it is claimed, to the doorstep of the aforementioned Kyle Walker.
Veteran stopper Walker is expected to depart Manchester City this month, after Pep Guardiola confirmed the Englishman’s desire for a new challenge.
And though the 34-year-old is now considered as being past his best, according to Sport:
‘Real Madrid would be interested in Walker to bring him on loan until the end of the season.’
