The brass at La Liga champions Real Madrid have seemingly set their sights on the most audacious of transfer swoops, for Barcelona star Lamine Yamal.
This comes amid confirmation that Los Blancos have been in regular contact with super agent Jorge Mendes, to be kept updated on the youngster’s situation.
Wide-man Lamine has of course spent the season to date continuing to build on his reputation as world football’s standout up-and-coming talent.
One of the first names on the team sheet of boss Hansi Flick, the 17-year-old has played a leading role in Barcelona’s push for a historic treble.
All told, Lamine has racked up 33 appearances in all competitions, across which he has notched 27 direct goal contributions.
And such ongoing excellence on the part of the Spaniard has not gone at all unappreciated at the aforementioned Real Madrid.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:
‘Real Madrid have been asking agent Jorge Mendes about Lamine Yamal’s situation at FC Barcelona.’
The response, however, has been as blunt as can be on Mendes’ part:
‘The Portuguese agent has told the Merengues to get him out of their heads. There is no option,’ it is concluded by MD.
