Real Madrid’s poor momentum continued as they were swept aside by AC Milan in the UEFA Champions League.
The Rossoneri dominated the reigning European champions at Santiago Bernabeu, securing a 3-1 victory that will go a long way in denting Real Madrid’s hopes for a top 8 finish.
If the scoreline wasn’t enough, Real Madrid suffered yet another blow on the night as key midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni picked up a knock.
According to Guillermo Rai, Tchouameni limped off his way to the dressing room, which caused concern within the Real Madrid camp.
Tchouameni’s knock came on the night of an early collision involving him and former Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata. However, the collision was not as dangerous and both continued immediately after.

That is perhaps why the club believe it was not a major knock and was only a slight blow. The midfielder is expected to undergo tests today.
Tchouameni’s knock, albeit a minor knock, capped off a poor night for the young Frenchman, who visibly struggled on the night.
The former AS Monaco starlet was unable to keep up with his markers and easily allowed the AC Milan attackers to dominate the final third.
Tchouameni’s poor form is not a good sign for Real Madrid, who have now conceded as many as seven goals in their last three matches.
It appears the team is lacking the services of a veteran leader like Toni Kroos, who can control possession and allow more freedom to dynamic midfielders such as Tchouameni.
For now, the Frenchman will be looking to recover from his minor knock and get back to full fitness, with Real Madrid set to take on Osasuna this weekend.
