Real Madrid are reportedly interested in bringing Milan’s Alex Jimenez back to the Bernabeu on a temporary basis in order to cover for the injured Dani Carvajal while Carlo Ancelotti’s side wait for a potential summer deal for Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold.
According to reports from AS, reported via Calciomercato.com, Madrid are interested in the possibility of signing Alex Jimenez on loan for the remainder of the 2024-25 season.

The versatile 19-year-old, who has featured at full-back and on the wing for Milan and their Futuro side, spent 10 years in Madrid’s youth ranks before joining the Rossoneri in 2023.
The Spaniard originally joined Milan on loan with an option to buy, which was activated in 2024 for a €5m fee. Madrid have a buy-back clause, though, which means that they have the option to sign Alex Jimenez permanently for a fee of €9m this summer, or €12m in the summer of 2026.
However, Madrid only appear to be interested in a loan deal in January, as they are widely expected to complete a deal for a high-profile right-back on a permanent basis in the summer. Liverpool’s Alexander-Arnold, who is out of contract in the summer, has been the top target all season.
