Real Madrid will travel to Catalonia tomorrow as they take on RCD Espanyol in La Liga, aiming to stretch their lead at the top of the table.
Heading into the contest, the Merengues have been handed a major boost as star forward Vinicius Jr. is back in the squad after missing a few games due to suspension.
Now, AS reports that as Real Madrid get set to enter the decisive part of the season, starting with tomorrow’s game against Espanyol, Vinicius Jr. is feeling at 200% and is ready to go.
The 24-year-old has not played much in recent weeks having been out serving suspensions both in La Liga and the UEFA Champions League.
Indeed, since the Copa del Rey clash against Celta Vigo, Vinicius has featured in just one game for Los Blancos – the UEFA Champions League tie vs. RB Salzburg.

The Brazilian winger was forced to sit out of the La Liga games against Las Palmas and Real Valladolid due to a two-match ban after his red card in the Valencia clash.
Meanwhile, a yellow card vs Salzburg meant that he was also suspended for Real Madrid’s final UCL group phase game against Brest.
As such, Vinicius has been quiet for two weeks, working in Madrid, calming his mind and getting his body ready – training even on his days off.
Now, the forward, being linked with Saudi Arabia of late, feels fully ready and at ‘200%’ to get back on the field, starting from the Espanyol clash tomorrow, where he is expected to be a starter.
So far this season, Vinicius has managed a return of 16 goals and ten assists from 26 matches in all competitions – a tally he will be aiming to boost in the coming weeks.
