Real Madrid transfer target responds to Dean Huijsen’s ‘going home’ post | OneFootball

A member of the summer transfer shortlist at La Liga giants Real Madrid has this week dropped something of a hint regarding his interest in a move to the Spanish capital.

This comes by way of a response to a social media post on the part of recent Blancos signing Dean Huijsen.

Defender Huijsen was of course recently announced as the first addition to Xabi Alonso’s Real Madrid squad for the 2024/25 campaign.

The 20-year-old was brought in in a big-money transfer from Bournemouth earlier this month.

Huijsen, in turn, this week took to his official Instagram account, to unveil a photo of himself donning a Real Madrid kit as a child.

The post also featured the caption ‘We’re going home’.

And as alluded to above, since providing his response to as much was another member of the transfer wishlist at the Santiago Bernabéu this summer.

Heavily linked with an upcoming move to Spain’s capital, Benfica standout Álvaro Carreras made clear his happiness for Huijsen, by way of a simple ‘like’ on the latter’s post.
