There were reports the 20-year-old might be part of Enzo Maresca’s squad for this season, but the decision was taken to loan him to sister club Strasbourg.

AC Milan interested in Santos

Santos has excelled in Ligue 1 this season with ten goals in all competitions , and Strasbourg currently sit sixth , just four points behind Monaco in second, with Champions League qualification a real possibility.

Despite being a loanee Santos has captained Strasbourg this season, which is testament to his character and he’s really developed this season.

The midfielder is set for a key role at Chelsea next season, but his performances haven’t gone unnoticed with Bayern Munich said to be interested.

However, TEAMtalk have reported AC Milan are interested in the Brazilian, with a loan deal said to interest the Serie A outfit.

The report adds Milan continue to monitor Santos’ situation closely and believe he could be a potential starter for the club.

It’s believed Chelsea’s stance is that Santos isn’t for sale, but maybe that could change if a huge offer came in for the midfielder.

Santos has revealed how Newcastle star Bruno Guimarães is his idol, whilst he’s also said he’s ready to play for Chelsea, and it’s expected he’ll be part of the squad for the Club World Cup.
