Mile Svilar is set to extend his stay in the Italian capital after emerging as Roma’s number one choice in goal.

Svilar, the undisputed star between the Roma posts thanks to his decisive saves, is increasingly central to the club’s plans.

For this reason, the Giallorossi are ready to renew his contract, currently expiring in 2027, with a substantial financial adjustment.

According to today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport, negotiations for the extension until 2029 are well underway, with a possible new salary set at 1.8 million euros per season.

The situation, of course, still needs further developments before the parties find a definitive agreement but talks at an advanced stage.
