The Giallorossi won’t sign Davide Frattesi nor an Artem Dovbyk deputy. They’ll hold onto Eldor Shomurodov to handle those duties. Instead, they’ll add a man behind Angelino. The former would have been a nice addition given his upside, but they realistically needed just a backup as they have a rock-solid trio. The newcomer should be able to replace Mats Hummels, who’s the one that needs to be managed the most.
