Saelemaekers eyes return vs Atalanta

Alexis Saelemaekers nears his return to the pitch following a lengthy stop caused by an ankle fracture.

After over two months out of action, Saelemaekers is determined to regain a central role at Roma.

Last week, Saelemaekers returned to training with the ball, while yesterday he intensified his work, also dedicating himself to taking shots from outside the area, one of the specialties on which the coach wants to focus.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Saelemaekers’ goal is clear: to be ready for the challenge on December 1st against Atalanta.

His physical condition is gradually improving and, although he is not yet at his best, the winger is convinced he can reach ideal form in the coming weeks.
