Good evening and welcome to the Football Italia Liveblog for tonight’s coverage of the re-arranged Serie A match between Fiorentina and Inter.

The fixture was originally scheduled for December 1, but was abandoned after 17 minutes after Edoardo Bove’s on-pitch collapse. That means that tonight, the game will pick up exactly where it left off: Beginning with a Fiorentina throw-in in the 17th minute with the scores level at 0-0.

There are strict regulations in place over which players are eligible to play tonight. The teams are not allowed to field any of their January signings, which means no Nicola Zalewski for the Nerazzurri, and no Pablo Mari, Nicolo Fagioli, Michael Folorunsho, Cher Ndour or Nicolo Zaniolo for La Viola.

‘Kick-off’ is due at 19.45 GMT.

Speaking to Sky Sport at full-time: “We were completely missing in that game, everything was missing. We deserved the defeat. Congratulations to Fiorentina.

“We weren’t good at reacting, despite the signs already being there in the first half. I am the first one to take responsibility. We’ll analyse this defeat, this isn’t the time for drama.

“This team obviously doesn’t end here with this defeat. I don’t want excuses or to hear about fatigue, we simply didn’t show what we usually show on the pitch.”
