Atalanta have mathematically guaranteed a top four finish in Serie A, so it’s a fight between Juventus, Lazio, Roma and Bologna for that final Champions League spot.

As expected, the Serie A Week 36 results shook things up in the race for European qualification.

Bologna failed to take advantage, losing 3-1 away to Milan, and Fiorentina slipped down to ninth place with their 2-1 loss at Venezia.

Now there are two rounds left to be played and four teams could still clinch that precious fourth spot, while Milan and Fiorentina can only hope to get into the Conference League.

Milan and Bologna do have another chance to qualify for the Europa League as Coppa Italia winners, as the Final is on Wednesday evening.

If two teams are level on points in Serie A, then they are separated first by head-to-head record, only if that is equal do they look at goal difference.
