One player has told Chelsea that he wants to leave the club Sunday just gone, but there is one reason Premier League clubs are now put off.

If said player wants out, then he may need to look abroad to get that move and to be honest, those are the only strong links we are seeing right now.

Renato Veiga has apparently agreed terms to join Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga this month, but the German club and Chelsea have not yet agreed the deal.

Veiga is just one of many surprise names at Chelsea being linked with a move away this month, with some of them, like Veiga, only having arrived at Stamford Bridge just six months ago in the summer. It’s pure madness.

The versatile player told Chelsea on Sunday that he just wants to play more, reports Phillips.

He says:

‘SPTC sources have heard that Chelsea will only sell the player on a permanent deal, or at least a loan with an obligation to buy.

‘Our sources say that this has put off Premier League clubs who have been showing an interest in the versatile teenager.

‘Chelsea don’t really want to let Veiga go, but sources have heard that Veiga told the club on Sunday that he wants to play more, and obviously Chelsea cannot offer those guarantees right now.

‘Chelsea will reluctantly sell him due to the fact that he is now pushing to leave.’
