Southampton's find of the season, Tyler Dibling is also a result of the academy's hard work. Apart from him, Samuel Amo-Ameyaw and Dom Ballard are also expected to be next on the list.

Now, another young forward's future looks bright at the club.

Recently, 18-year-old attacker Moses Sesay committed his future at Southampton. Understandably, Sesay was extremely delighted after signing his first professional contract.

Speaking to Southampton's official site, Sesay said: "I'm happy that I've been able to take this next step and hopefully there's more to come, I'd just like to thank everyone that helped me out through this journey and I'm grateful for the opportunity."

First of all, Sesay's Saints journey has been nothing short of remarkable. The teenager joined the club in 2023 but has already developed a great reputation for his versatility.

The club statement also mentioned that academy director, Andy Goldie is also amazed by Sesay's impressive learning curve.

In his own words, Andy Goldie said: "He initially joined us as a winger, but has transitioned to performing consistently well at left back and across all three midfield positions, which is a testament to his character and the qualities he has developed."

Going by Andy's praise, it's easy to become excited about Moses Sesay.

More so, because the senior attackers have been awful in the Premier League. Except for Tyler Dibling and sometimes, Cameron Archer, no other forward has managed to get going up front.
