Spurs are looking for their first Premier League win in over a month when they host Crystal Palace this Sunday.
Ange Postecoglou’s men do come into this tie on a high, though, having beaten Bodo/Glimt to reach the Europa League final in Bilbao, where they will face Manchester United on 21 May.
Palace are looking forward to a final of their own next Saturday when they take on Manchester City in the FA Cup at Wembley. The Eagles are hoping to lift a major trophy for the first time in their history.
Before then, both sides will duke it out at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Son Heung-min could make his return to action this weekend after missing the last six games with a foot injury. Postecoglou says he is “half-hopeful” the Korean winger will play some part in this weekend’s London derby.
Brennan Johnson is a slight doubt after being forced off the pitch during their midweek trip to the Arctic Circle, while the minutes of Spurs‘ key players will be managed carefully. James Maddison, Lucas Bergvall and Radu Dragusin are all out for the rest of the season.
Adam Wharton will miss the short trip to north London after rolling his ankle against Nottingham Forest on Monday night. But manager Oliver Glasner is hopeful he will be available for the FA Cup final.
“If everything goes right he’ll be reintegrated in full training next week and on Wednesday when we start preparing for the final,” he said in his pre-match press conference.
Aside from Chadi Riad and Cheick Doucoure, who are both ruled out for the rest of the season, Palace have everyone else available for selection.
4-3-3: Vicario; Gray, Danso, Davies, Spence; Bentancur, Sarr, Kulusevski; Odobert, Richarlison, Tel.
3-4-2-1: Henderson; Richards, Lacroix, Guéhi; Muñoz, Hughes, Lerma, Mitchell; Sarr, Eze; Mateta.
