With this draw in Nice, the Parisians continued their impressive run of unbeaten away matches in Ligue 1. They have now played 28 consecutive matches away from home without defeat, a run which began... in Marseille on February 27, 2023. It's an uncontested record in France and in the club's history.

TRIAL BY WOODWORK

There have been a few too many 'dings' lately for the Parisians, who can't seem to stop hitting the woodwork. Paris have hit the frame of the goal 31 times in all competitions since the start of 2024 - that's at least four more than any other team in Europe's top five leagues. The most recent of these came against Nice, when Marquinhos' header went agonisingly close to clinching what would have been a deserved victory on the Côte d'Azur.

On Sunday evening, the breakthrough came from Nuno Mendes. The Parisian left-back scored - with his right foot - Paris' fourth goal from outside the box this season, giving the capital club the highest such total in Ligue 1 in season 2024-25, ahead of... Nice. It was the Portuguese international's fourth goal in all competitions since joining Paris.

Last but not least, for his comeback, Ousmane set abput doing the Dembélé! Provider of tje assist for Nuno Mendes against Nice, the mercurial winger has been directly involved in at least one goal in six of his seven Ligue 1 appearances for Paris this season (four goals, four assists).

The Parisian No.10 was also involved in ten shots against Nice (five shots, five passes leading to a shot), his joint-highest total in Ligue 1 with Paris (ten also against Montpellier in November 2023 and Brest in September 2024).
