Svilar rejects Roma’s first renewal offer: Roma prepare new proposal

Roma and Mile Svilar are locked in talks over the goalkeeper’s contract renewal.

As things stand, the definitive agreement with the Belgian goalkeeper has not yet been found.

As reported by Tuttosport, the club’s first proposal – a contract worth 1.8 million euros per season plus bonuses with an extension until 2029 – was rejected.

The Giallorossi are now ready to relaunch: on the table is an offer of 3 million per year plus bonuses, with a new expiry date set for 2030 (the current contract is valid until June 30, 2027).

Slowing down the negotiations is the request of the player’s agent, Lemic, to include a release clause valid starting in the summer of 2026. A condition that is still being discussed.
