Chelsea have a number of top players, but Cole Palmer is the hardest trainer at the club according to Mail Sport reporter Kieran Gill.
The Blues have a squad packed with talent, all who have worked extremely hard to get to the position they are in today.
Enzo Maresca hasn’t been afraid to let players know if they aren’t hitting the standards in training, and Noni Madueke has fallen foul on a number of occasions this season.
Palmer ended an 18 game scoreless streak with a late penalty in a man of the match performance in last weekend’s 3-1 win against Liverpool.
The 23-year-old had been going through a difficult spell, and Maresca felt his struggles were mental rather than tactical.

One thing that can’t be questioned is Palmer’s dedication and how much he loves football, whilst John Terry revealed Palmer won the squad bleep test, showing he’s also one of the fittest in the squad.
All players train hard otherwise you don’t get to the position they’re in, but one thing people often wonder is who the best or hardest trainers are at the club.
Mail Sport’s Kieran Gill has revealed who the hardest trainer at Chelsea is in a Q & A and the player might not come as a surprise.
“The player whose name I’ve heard pop up most when this topic has been broached is Palmer,” he wrote in his latest Mail Sport column.
There have been questions surrounding Palmer’s future and he was linked with Real Madrid, but it’s been confirmed there’s no release clause in his contract this summer relating to Champions League qualification.
Palmer signed a two year contract extension last year keeping him at Stamford Bridge until 2033, and it’s clear the Blues don’t want him going anywhere.
However, Chelsea will need to qualify for the Champions League as soon as possible, and start competing and winning major trophies if they want to keep their top stars long term.
