Multiple outlets suggest that Thiago Motta will hand an opportunity to Dusan Vlahovic for Sunday’s Serie A match away against Cagliari, which could be the first league start for the Serbian since Randal Kolo Muani’s arrival from Paris Saint-Germain in January.

Juventus hand rare starting opportunity to Vlahovic

According to the likes of Sky Sport Italia and La Gazzetta dello Sport, Vlahovic will start from the off for Juventus in the Serie A clash away against Calgiari on Sunday night.

This will be the first time that Vlahovic has started in the league this calendar year. His last start came on December 29 in a 2-2 draw with Fiorentina.

He missed the next two through injury, was reintroduced as a substitute in the next few matches, but has ultimately lost his starting place to Kolo Muani since his arrival from PSG on January 23.

Vlahovic has started just once in any competition since Kolo Muani was officially announced, which came in a 2-0 defeat to Benfica in the final league phase match of this season’s Champions League.
