Tom Wagner makes big Jay Stansfield transfer revelation - These 2 Birmingham City players may not like it

Blues' owner has revealed that he is willing to break the club's transfer record once again this summer.
Birmingham City failed in their quest for a league and cup double on Sunday, as they were beaten 2-0 by Peteborough United at Wembley Stadium in the Vertu Trophy.
Spectacular goals from Harley Mills and Hector Kyprianou denied Blues their chance to make it an extra-special weekend, after it was confirmed that they would end the season as the League One champions following Wrexham's 0-0 draw with Wigan Athletic.
The Championship awaits Chris Davies' side once again, and they will be hoping for a much happier return to the division that they suffered relegation from just under 12 months ago, with owner Tom Wagner looking to go big once again.
The American businessman has said that he is willing to break Birmingham's transfer record once again in the summer, having done so at the start of the season when he signed Jay Stansfield for a reported £15m.
Football League World has looked at two players at St. Andrew's who may fear their position at the club if this is to happen.
Ryan Allsop joined Blues in the summer from Hull City, and he has spent the majority of the campaign as the number one goalkeeper for the West Midlands outfit.
However, he has not always been the most consistent shot-stopper in the Championship and with Birmingham's ambitions so great, it would not be a surprise to see Wagner make a statement and push for a new and potentially more established player to play between the posts from next season.
Defensively, Davies' side have been superb in 2024/25, and it may be quite harsh for Allsop's position to potentially be up for grabs, but he will be 33 in June and there may be a desire to see a young goalkeeper come in once the transfer window opens.
While it is tough to predict where Birmingham will finish in the Championship, they will be hoping to challenge those at the top of the division and emulate Ipswich Town's double-promotion, and having a reliable pair of hands in goal will only help them to do that.
The arrival of Lyndon Dykes at St. Andrew's last summer was perhaps a surprising one considering his difficulties with QPR in the past, and he has never quite been able to prove himself to Davies, with Alfie May and Stansfield sharing responsibilities up front throughout the League One campaign.
His chances of appearing in the Championship will be limited further, and with the possibility of Blues breaking their transfer record once again, it would not be a surprise to see Wagner enter the market for another forward.
Goals will be vital to Birmingham's chances of finishing in the top six, and finding a player who is proven in the second tier at the very least may be one item on their list once the transfer window opens.
Dykes' form in the third tier has not been good enough, and he does not look to be a threat at all when he finds himself out on the pitch, and he must surely be looking at an exit in the summer if another striker is found.
