Four Inter players, including leading scorer Marcus Thuram, are among the top ten Serie A performers so far.
Serie A Week 18 is just around the corner, but who are the top 10 performers in Italy’s top flight in the opening 17 rounds?
As highlighted by Fantacalcio, the crown belongs to Serie A top scorer Thuram, whose average player rating* from Italian sports papers is 6.69, slightly above Fiorentina keeper David De Gea with 6.62.

Inter may not be the table leaders, but their players impressed Italian reporters, given that four Nerazzurri feature in the top 10.
Aside from Thuram, Nicolò Barella, Federico Dimarco and Alessandro Bastoni are also among the 10 players with the highest ratings this season.
Competition to get in the top 10 is stiff, considering that two of the best Serie A players in 2024-25, Christian Pulisic and Charles De Ketelaere, are not in the ranking, although their marks are still pretty high and could allow them to pounce in the top 10 in the coming weeks. Pulisic’s average player rating so far is 6.46, while CDK has 6.44.
