PSG had reportedly been keeping an eye on Lyon midfielder Rayan Cherki, who’s also drawing interest from Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur. The 21-year-old has been in excellent form this season, racking up 12 goals and 19 assists in 43 appearances, and is quickly becoming one of Europe’s most exciting young talents.
According to an earlier report from Graeme Bailey of TBR Football, Manchester United are among several Premier League clubs tracking Cherki. Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, Aston Villa, and Newcastle are also said to be monitoring his situation closely.
The interest in Cherki extends beyond the Premier League. Bayern Munich and PSG were back in the mix recently, attracted by his standout performances. However, it now looks like PSG are out of the picture. Foot Mercato reported Monday that the club has ruled out a move for Cherki, with no contact currently underway—and none expected anytime soon.

Tottenham are emerging as frontrunners to sign Rayan Cherki this summer, according to GIVE ME SPORT, which reported Thursday that the club recently reignited contact to better understand what it would take to outmaneuver domestic rivals and complete a deal.
The report adds that Tottenham could face stiff competition, as Cherki is believed to favor a move to newly-crowned Premier League champions Liverpool after contributing 31 goal involvements across all competitions this season.
Still, Tottenham remain firmly in the mix. GIVE ME SPORT notes that Cherki’s representatives are keeping the door open for Premier League interest, especially with Liverpool currently prioritizing a move for Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz.
