Tottenham pursuing another loan deal for Mathys Tel | OneFootball

According to a report from Florian Plettenberg, Tottenahm are pursuing a deal to sign Mathys Tel (20) on a permanent deal. The French forward has been on loan at the UEFA Europa League winners from Bayern Munich for the second half of the season.

Tel was a deadline day signing for the Premier League club in the January transfer window as they looked to bolster their attacking options for the second half of the season. Whilst Spurs would like to sign the 20-year-old permanently, they are proposing a second loan move where they would be obligated to sign the former Rennes attacker at the end of next season.

Bayern Munich are open to sanctioning a deal which would see the Frenchman leave. However, the Bundesliga champions prefer a permanent move, where Tel would leave the club this summer. Negotiations are ongoing between the two clubs as they look to find the best solution.
