Tottenham Hotspur appear poised for the upcoming January transfer window, with a Danish defender reportedly added to their list of targets.
Currently sitting in 10th place in the Premier League table and with their next match not until Saturday, 23rd November, the Spurs face mounting pressure after a season that has yet to win over their supporters.
Recent reports have already linked Tottenham to several potential signings for the new campaign, including Javi Guerra from Valencia CF, Lucas Chevalier from Lille, and Ilya Zabarnyi from AFC Bournemouth.

Among these, 28-year-old Joachim Andersen has emerged as a strong contender. The Danish defender, currently playing for Fulham, has drawn significant attention from Premier League heavyweights such as Liverpool and Tottenham.
According to recent information from GiveMeSport, both clubs are evaluating the possibility of signing Andersen as they look to bolster their defensive lines, particularly with a focus on long-term solutions.
Andersen joined Fulham this summer on a £90,000-per-week contract and has been instrumental in the club's solid start to the season. Fulham currently sit in 7th place in the league, thanks in no small part to Andersen's defensive contributions.
For Liverpool, Andersen could be seen as a potential replacement for Virgil van Dijk, whose contract renewal remains uncertain, sparking speculation that the Reds might be preparing for life without their talismanic centre-back.
Meanwhile, Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou is reportedly keen to reduce his side's reliance on their current central defensive duo, Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven.
Tottenham Hotspur had already expressed interest in Andersen during the summer transfer window but failed to secure the deal.
Despite Tottenham and Liverpool’s ambitions, Fulham are under no pressure to sell their star defender. Andersen is protected by a long-term contract and remains a vital part of the team’s core.
However, an exceptionally high bid from either Liverpool or Tottenham could potentially sway Fulham’s stance. While the club is reluctant to part ways with Andersen, the right financial offer might force them to reconsider.
For now, the prospect of Andersen leaving Fulham appears slim. Fans of both clubs will have to wait and see how the situation unfolds in the coming months.
