Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho is reportedly attracting serious interest from Saudi Pro League clubs, including Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr and the ambitious new project at NEOM SC, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.
The 20-year-old Argentine, once seen as a key figure in the club’s long-term plans, may now be headed for the exit amid growing uncertainty over his future at Old Trafford.
Garnacho has been a regular starter under manager Rúben Amorim throughout the 2024/25 campaign, featuring prominently in both domestic and European fixtures.
However, tensions reportedly flared between the player and Amorim following the Europa League final defeat in Bilbao, leading to a public fallout that has cast significant doubt over his position in the squad.
As a result, the young winger has been informed that he is free to find a new club during the upcoming transfer window.
The decision to part ways with Garnacho appears to be influenced not only by the breakdown in relations with Amorim but also by the club’s financial priorities.
INEOS, now overseeing football operations at United, have been vocal about the need to manage spending and balance the books amid Premier League Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) and Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations.
Given that Garnacho is an academy graduate, any transfer fee received would be recorded as pure profit, making his sale an appealing option to ease financial pressures.

In addition to Al-Nassr and NEOM SC, Garnacho has previously been linked with moves to Chelsea and Napoli, both of whom remain interested in securing his signature.
However, Saudi clubs may hold a financial advantage, with their willingness to offer lucrative personal terms and substantial transfer fees.
Jacobs revealed during an appearance on The United Stand that the Saudi sides are closely monitoring the situation and may soon formalize their interest.
Man United have reportedly set an asking price of £60-70m for the young Argentine winger.
