Jamie Vardy bowed out of his Leicester City career in true Vardy fashion, bagging his 200th goal for the club in a 2-0 win over Ipswich Town - his 500th and final appearance at the King Power.
He got things going after 28 minutes, coolly slotting past Alex Palmer after a brilliant 50-yard burst from James Justin set him up.
The visitors weren’t without chances, though – Leif Davis smacked the post and Omari Hutchinson blazed over right before the break.
Kasey McAteer was unlucky to hit the woodwork as well, but made up for it in the 69th minute with a thumping finish after a slick first-time pass from Wilfred Ndidi.
The result sees Leicester leapfrog Ipswich into 18th, with both sides now set to meet again next season in the Championship.
