Vilahamn nominated for WSL Manager of the Month award

Robert Vilahamn has been shortlisted for September’s Barclays Women’s Super League Manager of the Month.

We picked up four points in the month, with an emphatic 4-0 victory over Crystal Palace at Brisbane Road in the opening game of the season before Bethany England’s late leveller at Villa Park secured a 2-2 draw with Aston Villa.

Robert is up against Chelsea’s Sonia Bompastor and Manchester United’s Marc Skinner for September’s award.

Bethany England is also up for the WSL Player of the Month award for September after two goal involvements in our opening two games of the season, including scoring an injury-time equaliser at Villa Park to secure a point.
