Vinicius Jr. Gets 8, Courtois With 7.5 | Real Madrid Players Rated In Lackluster Loss Vs Arsenal

Real Madrid welcomed Arsenal at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to overturn a 3-0 first-leg deficit in their UEFA Champions League quarter-final tie. Los Blancos made a decent start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.
Bukayo Saka gave Arsenal the lead in the 65th minute. However, Vinicius Jr. equalised for the home side just a couple of minutes later. Gabriel Martinelli ended up scoring the winning goal in injury time as Real Madrid crashed to a lackluster 2-1 loss at the Bernabeu.
Carlo Ancelotti’s men got knocked out of the Champions League after losing the tie 5-1 on aggregate.

GK: Thibaut Courtois – 7.5/10
Courtois made a few important saves at the back but won’t be happy about conceding twice in the second half.
RB: Lucas Vazquez – 6.5/10
He cleared the danger when required and made one good chance from the right flank.
CB: Raul Asencio – 6/10
Asencio failed to impress with his performance on the defensive end of the field.
CB: Antonio Rudiger – 6/10
He put his foot through the ball when needed and was strong in the air.

LB: David Alaba – 6.5/10
Alaba distributed the ball accurately and was substituted at the hour mark.
CM: Federico Valverde – 7/10
He anchored the midfield with conviction and won his fair share of aerial duels.
CM: Aurelien Tchouameni – 6.5/10
Tchouameni got stuck in with a few solid tackles but offered very little in the final third.
CM: Jude Bellingham – 6.5/10
He struggled to get into the flow of the game and never looked like he would score.
RW: Rodrygo – 6.5/10
Rodrygo caught the eye at times but there was no goal for him.
ST: Kylian Mbappe – 6.5/10
Mbappe made two decent runs with the ball but failed to register a goal tonight.
LW: Vinicius Jr. – 8/10
The Brazilian talent was a constant menace in the final third and scored the equaliser for Real Madrid in the 67th minute.

He made two decent chances going forward.

Garcia struggled to influence the game.
