Will Still to become new Southampton manager on three-year deal | OneFootball

According to a report from Mike McGrath of The Telegraph, RC Lens head coach Will Still has reached a full agreement with Southampton FC to become their new manager. McGrath explains that Still will sign a three-year contract, and that negotiations between Southampton and Lens are complete.

Last summer, Still took over at Lens from former head coach Franck Haise, leading Les Sang et Or to an 8th-place finish in the league. It was expected by the club that he would lead them into the second year of his three-year contract.

However, Still announced that he would be leaving at the end of the season following the final match of the year (4-0 win over AS Monaco). Still had previously managed at Stade de Reims after being promoted from assistant coach to head coach following the dismissal of Oscar Gárcia.

Still will be leading Southampton in the Championship from next season, after they were relegated from the Premier League under Ivan Juric.
