Barcelona ‘ready to listen’ to offers as Arsenal set sights on Blaugrana star | OneFootball

Barcelona star Ferran Torres is attracting interest from two leading Premier League clubs with a view to the January transfer window.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Arsenal and Aston Villa as the sides in question.

Spanish international Ferran for his part boasts previous experience of English football, having largely impressed whilst on the books of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City between 2020 and 2022.

And as much has evidently not been forgotten on the part of fellow countrymen Mikel Arteta and Unai Emery, both keen to bring the 24-year-old back to the Premier League this winter.

Significantly, it is also noted that Barcelona would be open to a sale, with Ferran sitting behind the trio of Lamine Yamal, Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski in the attacking pecking order in Hansi Flick’s squad.

It remains to be seen, however, how open the player himself would be to as much.

Ferran has made clear throughout his time in Barcelona colours that his only goal is to succeed with the Blaugrana, making a mid-season transfer look somewhat unlikely.
