Marvin Ducksch has expressed his frustration with the penalty decision that led to Bayern Munich's opener in Werder Bremen's 3-0 defeat on Friday.

The referee pointed to the spot after the ball struck Anthony Jung's arm, and Harry Kane then stepped up to put Bayern ahead.

Ducksch criticized the decision after the game, saying Werder wouldn't have been awarded a penalty if something similar had happened at the other end of the pitch.

"I would have liked to see how the game would have turned out if the penalty that led to the 1-0 goal hadn't been given," the Werder striker told DAZN.

"Would we have got away with a 0-0 draw or even hit them on the counter? We defended relatively well up to that point and didn't allow them any clear-cut chances. That made it all the more annoying when we went behind.

“They wouldn't have given it (the penalty) to us," said Ducksch.
